Our Services
NAT curriculum
Our Nurse Aide Training (NAT) curriculum at Halo Institute covers essential topics such as infection control, personal care skills, communication, safety, and basic nursing procedures. Taught by qualified instructors, the program emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice to ensure students are fully prepared for the State Certification exam and caregiving roles.
instruction
Instruction is delivered through a structured blend of classroom lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on lab practice led by qualified nurse instructors. Students will first build foundational knowledge in a supportive classroom setting, then apply those concepts in a simulated lab environment. After completing 76 hours of instruction, students will participate in supervised clinical training at a skilled nursing facility to prepare them for the state certification.
skills and clinical
The skills component of our Nurse Aide Training Program is conducted in a fully equipped lab, where students learn and practice essential nursing assistant skills, including bathing, feeding, taking vital signs, and performing safe patient transfers. Guided by experienced instructors, students build both competence and confidence through hands-on practice. Following the lab training, students complete 21 hours of supervised clinical experience at a skilled nursing facility, where they apply their skills in real patient care settings and develop a strong foundation for professional practice.
